It is not solely an embellishment to the fundamental structure of a building or interior, but can be built into the very fabric, though the use of wall and floor finishes, fabrics, specialist paintwork, tiles,lighting etc.. Ornamentalism

Hand painted panels, set in painted stone effect rendered walls. Ceiling sky with two magpies, for joy, in the grand entrance to the house.

Stucco painted walls, mahogany grained skirting and painted panel feature on leather.

A sense of fun was created by hand painting these walls in over sized, slightly wonky, blue gingham checks, in the children's bathroom.

High gloss red mottled lacquer finish to the walls in this dining room. The challenge was to work with existing period wood paneled features, go with it but give a contemporary twist.

The old panels in the red lacquered dining room, rebuilt and painted in distressed crackle glaze with patinised gold leaf emboss detail.

The client wanted a feel of 19th c France in a 1970's building.The extra tall paneled, double doors were custom made in a 'French' style to add a sense of height to the apartment, and distressed in a crackle glaze finish to give an air of being years old.
